Hidden in the centre of Hyde Park, the Hyde Park Super Nursery covers several acres and is not open to the public. Each year the Royal Parks provide the nursery with a bedding design which dictate which plants are grown. In May it is packed with flowers all ready to go to central London Royal Parks and other locations, such as Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle and 10 Downing Street.
The nursery manager will take us around and enlighten us with how the plants are grown and managed as well as providing us with the history of the nursery. At the end of this tour, you will be offered cheese and wine, sponsored by Wallacea Living.

The Friends of Regent’s Park have arranged behind the scenes access to Monkey Valley. We start in the library with a visit to the historical archives on the Aviary before a talk about the new exhibit. Then we tour the Aviary, following which the monkeys will be locked away whilst we put out browse bundles – before they are released to find it all. A unique, intimate and safe experience for us with the monkeys.
