These postcards show views of Regent’s Park from the Victorian period and early 20th century. They were kindly provided by Paul Rabbitts the park historian, and give us a sense of how the park looked as well as the people who visited.
Of particular interest are the shots of the Royal Botanic Society glasshouse built in 1845 which stood in the centre of the Inner Circle, on an 18 acre site which is now Queen Mary’s Gardens.
