There are over 170,000 trees across all eight Royal Parks, including over 250 different varieties and around 1,500 veteran trees. About 6,000 of the trees are in Regent’s Park, covering at least 47 different species.

For more information about trees in Regents Park, please see the Friends 2004 pamphlet published by Ivor Kamlish entitled “ Trees, ornamental, unusual & magnificent in the Regent’s Park” with text by Ann Muller and drawings by Maggie Silver It can be found at the following link.
