Open Air Theatre

Established in 1932, the multi-award-winning Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre is one of the largest theatres in London (1,240 seats) and situated in the beautiful surroundings of the Inner Circle, in the heart of Regent’s Park. Named London Theatre of the Year in 2017, the theatre is passionate about producing first class theatre in its unique setting which inspires, challenges and entertains. It’s magical to watch the drama on stage as the sun sets and the lights gradually come up. Pure theatre.

In the last 10 years, productions at the Open Air Theatre have won seven Olivier Awards, three Evening Standard Awards and six WhatsOnStage Awards. The Theatre will reopen for the 2021 season, when it will reprise the shows intended for 2020: Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, 101 Dalmatians the musical, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Carousel, and family interactive show Dragons and Mythical Beasts.
